And finding the right fence installer to build it for you, (if you choose to not install it yourself), can be the most important part of completing a long-lasting fence system.\u00a0 With a few pointers, you will be able to choose the best person to install your RAMM Flex Fence.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

First, it is helpful to know what kind of an installer you are looking for. Let’s look at some examples of fencers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A handy person that helps around the farm.\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

This may be someone you have found to help you with your work and minor repairs. Has never worked with a high tensile fence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A Fencer that installs board<\/b> or post and rail<\/b><\/h3>\n

Most often, this fence installer will have the equipment to auger posts into the ground,\u00a0 tamp posts, and nail rails to the posts.\u00a0 Again this person does not know how to install a high tensile fence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

*A certified or qualified fencer that understands and has experience with a Polymer High tensile fence system, high tensile and or is willing to put your fencing in per manufacturer\u2019s instructions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

This person* should be able to look over your layout and explain to you the steps that they will do to install your fence.\u00a0 They should also have references that you can refer to as well as testimonials from their customers.\u00a0 They should review the manufacturer’s instructions with you if you ask and answer any questions you have.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In your search it is best to find a person or crew that is genuinely interested, experienced and wants to follow the recommended instructions.\u00a0 The leg work you put into this will be an important key in having a long-lasting installation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Talk to people that you know to get a good referral. But if you do not have sources for references, you can make calls to local fence companies as well as contractors to ask who would be able to install for you.\u00a0 Always be sure to find out as much information that you can about the company before you decide to contract with them. \u00a0 Find out what systems they install and how long their wait list is for a start date.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Do ask to see some of the finished jobs that they have installed in your area. Or ask for photos and see if you can call to get a reference from the fence\/farm owner.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Clear all fence lines and leave 30\u2019 of clearance around your proposed paddock.\u00a0 Clear all lines of brush, trees or tall grass.\u00a0 Be sure to call DIG prior to your installer arriving to mark any underground lines.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
